Abstract

In modern occidental societies (and in those who are getting occidentalized) the rational economical reductionist paradigm –that tendency of calculating anything in order to give it intelligibility, according to the principle that any event has scientific interest only when it can be quantified– which lays at the methodological basis of pure sciences, has become the key of reading in the study of the same living matter.
